July 26: Community German Worship Service
We have a Community German Worship Service on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Our next service will be Tuesday, July 26, 2011 @ 10:00 am. This service will include German hymns, prayer time and a sermon from guest speaker Frank Klassen. Members of neighbouring German-speaking congregations are also invited, making this a good time to fellowship and worship with friends. If you require a recording of the service, please let the sound person know - tapes can be made immediately after the service. Please phone the church office with any questions you may have.

August 29-September 3: MCC Quilt Show and Demonstrations at the Clearbrook Public Library, 32320 George Ferguson Way in Abbotsford. Come see works of art in progress and vote on your favourite quilt. All the quilts on display will be up for auction at the MCC Festival (see below). For info and photos click here.

September 9-10: MCC Festival and Relief Sale at the Tradex in Abbotsford. Join us for a weekend of festivities that support MCC’s Generations projects, helping those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Click here for all the details!

Start collecting change for MCC Penny Power 2011!
Money raised this year goes towards food security projects in Sudan, and every penny will be matched 4:1 by CIDA. Food programs, food for work programs, and training in agriculture best practices will all contribute towards regular access to adequate food supplies and the empowerment of women and girls.
