The FUSMC Ladies are preparing chicken & beef burritos to raise money for the MCC Resource Centre which ministers to newcomers in Canada.
Yola Vargas at the MCC Resource Centre hosts workshops for women on issues of abuse, child rearing and understanding our Canadian system. She also accompanies newcomers to immigration and other government offices. Please plan to stay for a delicious meal and help the Resource Centre, a joint ministry of MCC & FUSMC. Saturday May 9, 2009 Keep Vancouver Spectacular Day
We are celebrating by cleaning up the neighbourhood. We will be meeting at 46th and Fraser (behind Subway) at 10:00 am. We will be working from 10-12 cleaning up the streets. There will also be tools available and treats for those participating. So get your grubbies on and lend a hand - we'll see you there! It's time for Farmer Sausage Fundraising for the Youth Retreat in Oliver.
We will be in the basement ready to take orders immediately following both services this Sunday, April 26 and after the InCommon service on May 3. Order deadline is May 3 and orders will be ready for pickup on Sunday May 10, just in time for a Mother's Day BBQ. Thank you so much for your support.
