Place of Refuge Update
Please go here for more information: Place of Refuge
The house looks fabulous! Please continue to pray for everything that is happening at Place of Refuge.
What Lies Ahead
We are still working on final finishing work and touch-ups, the patio deck and railing is in the process of being rebuilt, a volunteer is coming to scrape the outdoor window and door trim and patch up the stucco. After that, there remains the painting of the outside of the house, and all the yard work.
Inspection Date – May 21st! URGENT NEED FOR PRAYER
In order to qualify for a provincial ministry of housing subsidy, we must be ready for inspection by May 21st! Even though there will still be work in progress, pray that the inspection goes well.
TO VOLUNTEER, please contact Erich Krause (604) 790-5451, the chairman of the board.
We are looking for people willing to do yard cleanup, landscaping, start and maintain raised vegetable gardens – someone to take ownership of keeping the yard looking good.
DONATIONS NEEDED
Furnishings (11 captains beds – or any single beds you may have).
We have a detailed list of household items available in our church foyer. Please look over the list and consider donating, every little bit helps in a big way. To donate, please call Laura Penner (604) 327-1964, board member.
