A Big Thank you! We had a great work day on Saturday May 2nd, lots of people came and did lots of good work! We had a couple from one of the churches spend a day just cleaning up!

What Lies Ahead

Installation of countertops this week, flooring is going in on Monday and Tuesday, lots of final finishing work and touch-ups, the patio deck and railing is in the process of being rebuilt, a volunteer is coming to scrape the outdoor window and door trim and patch up the stucco. After that, there remains the painting of the outside of the house, and all the yard work.

Inspection Date – May 12th! URGENT NEED FOR PRAYER

In order to qualify for a provincial ministry of housing subsidy, we must be ready for inspection by May 12th! Even though there will still be work in progress, pray that the inspection goes well.

We are looking for people willing to do yard cleanup, landscaping, start and maintain raised vegetable gardens – someone to take ownership of keeping the yard looking good.

Furnishings (11 captains beds – or any single beds you may have).
We have a detailed list of household items here (still working on the download, the list will be available as soon as we work out the glitch). A list is available in the church foyer on Sunday morning. Please look over the list and consider donating, every little bit helps in a big way.
