June 14 - "Back to the Future"
Rev 21:1-4 - Joe Heikman - The "Cherishing Our Anabaptist Treasures" series continues with a look at the first Anabaptist's expectations for "The New Jerusalem." Many of them lived with the expectation that Jesus was returning soon, like, tomorrow. Obviously that wasn't the case, but their expectations for the future had major implications for the way they lived. We can learn much from the story of Melchior Hoffman and the failed "New Jerusalem" takeover of the city of Munster.
