1 Peter 2:1-10 - Ingrid Schultz - Anabaptists through the centuries have embraced this concept in their fellowship; sometimes more in theory than in practice. What does it mean? It means, simply, that every Christian is a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ. All believers are called to participate in the life and witness of the church, to share in mutual discipline and forgiveness and, as we shared last week, to test the interpretation of Scripture. It also signifies that the believer has access to God without the mediation of a priest and can be a channel of grace for other Christians.
